Celtic Keeps Historically Low Team Fees for 2017

Registration for teams is available on the Coast Soccer League website. Any new team needs to get approval from our President, Matt McDonagh, prior to registering. All paperwork and payments must be processed through the Celtic Club by Saturday, May 13th.

5/13/17 SATURDAY @ Celtic Picnic - from 1-3 PM @ Magnolia Park in Upland...ALL CSL registration paperwork and payments will be collected for those that don't turn in their paperwork at the previous meeting

Celtic expects to field 40+ teams this 16/17 season accommodating 650+ players.

Research confirms Celtic team fees remains one of the least expensive clubs yet provides excellent opportunities for success.

The following are PER TEAM (not per individual)

 

Celtic Financial Obligations 2017 Season

  • U11-U19 $1000 Celtic Fees ($500 due at May registration, $500 due by Sept. 1)
  • U9-U10 $800 Celtic Fees ($500 due at May registration, $300 due by Sept. 1)
  • $450 Coast Soccer League Fees – Payable to Celtic at May registration.
  • $200 New Team Coast Soccer League Bond Fee – Payable to Celtic at May registration
  • $50 Returning Team Coast Soccer League Bond Fee – Payable to Celtic at May registration
  • $100 – Check payable to Barbara Pachon – for registrar duties
  • Premier Fees are covered by Celtic for teams with a minimum of 3 years in Celtic. Cost is based on CSL pricing. 

PLAYER COST: Note these are NOT included in the above cost and occur for EACH player registered.

  • $50 Per Player Registration for annual player card. (*Fall Registration Only, otherwise, $30. Voted change at January Board Meeting. Extra portion goes to cover President time and cost for field monitoring and related meetings)
  • $0 for Coaches cards – these are free per Cal South

CELTIC IS REQUIRED TO COLLECT $ ON BEHALF OF COAST SOCCER LEAGUE AND CAL SOUTH. HOWEVER, THAT $ IS GIVEN TO THOSE ORGANIZATIONS (see below)

Includes: Practice fields (with lights), over 30 aluminum goals and nets at various sites (11 fields in total), free GK training 1 night per week, game fields in the Fall CSL league, free College Selection software  account and discounted entry into Celtic Cup, new youth academy teams (born in the calendar years 2008, 2009 or 2010) will receive a Green/White uniform to use for free.

HOW? Celtic Cup is a vital source of funding to provide our teams with a full club experience at a signficant discount. In addition, none of the Celtic board draws a salary. This is truly a non-profit organization.

CELTIC FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS 2017

Summary -
 
Amount Due at May Registration, assuming you did NOT sign up for Cal Cup:
 
2007 and older NEW CSL TEAMS: $1150  (plus an additional $500 due in September)
2007 and older returning CSL TEAMS: $1000 (plus an additional $500 due in September)
 
2008/2009 NEW CSL TEAMS: $1150 (plus an additional $300 due in September)
2008/2009 returning CSL Teams: $1000 (plus an additional $300 due in September)
 
NOTE: There are no waivers, exceptions or extensions. If your team can't come up with with the funds by May 11th, it will NOT be a Celtic team for the Fall Season.
 
Breakdown of Cost DUE AT REGISTRATION:
  • Celtic Club Fees $500  (plus the additional $500 or $300 amount due in September)
  • Coast League Fees $450
  • New team bond fee $200 (this is only for teams that are not using an existing CSL team number)
  • Returning team bond fee $50 (this is required in 2017, by CSL, to bump up your bond amount)
 
Additional cost that will follow and be paid to our registrar, at a later time
  • $100 check, payable to Barbara Pachon, for Registrar duties
  • $50 Per Player Registration for annual player card for Cal South
    • *Note: $25 goes to Cal South, $5 funds Celtic Youth Academy, $20 goes to cover field monitoring/Presiden
  • $0 for Coaches cards – these are free per Cal South
 
Following is for PREMIER LEVEL TEAMS ONLY. If you apply for Premier, you pay this up front.  If you don't get accepted, you will get a refund.
·                   2001-1999(98) Birth Year will be $1075.00 plus $450 League fee
·                   2002-2003 Birth Year will be $750.00 plus $450.00 League fee. 
(Celtic will cover the extra Premier cost for teams that have been in Celtic for 3 years)
